I.S.T.A. Science Quiz

Daragh Fogarty, Alana Baker and Ethan Cox (Leaving certs) represented the school for the I.S.T.A. annual science quiz in Athlone IT where they came 2^nd overall.  We wish them the very best of luck in the final in Trinity College on November 30^th. Thanks to their teachers Ms. Flynn and Ms. Howlin for their mentoring.

Scifest National Final -  Chemistry Award

We would like to congratulate Daragh Fogarty for representing the school at the SciFest National final in Trinity in the Chemistry award section. Daragh’s chemistry project involving analysis of phosphates for renal dialysis patients won best chemistry project at AIT Scifest and was then selected as one of the top 3 Chemistry projects to go the National final from all the regional winners.
