News from Last Term:
- The final five acts have performed and the winners have been chosen! Click on the link for Tullamore College's Got Talent 2009 information and videos. The videos of the final concert have been uploaded.

- Our Transition Year group raised a total of €7,070 for our twin school in Balawoli, Uganda at the Christmas Bazaar. The teacher helping them with the Gemini Ireland project is Ms. Mc Nally. Thanks to the local businesses which supported the event.

- Tullamore College students Laura Scally and Rhiagh Cleary were successful in their application for, and have been selected to attend, Trinity College Dublin's annual Transition Year Physics Experience. For more information, read our Science Department's latest news.
Third Level Scholarships for Past Pupils:
- UCD: Andrew Neale (Class of 2009) was awarded a Sports Scholarship for Rowing at University College Dublin on the 20th November.
- UCD: At the same ceremony, Michael Donohue and Eoin Mc Evoy (Class of 2009) were awarded UCD Entrance Scholarships.
- Bangor University: Past pupil Roddy Shaw (Class of 2009) has been awarded an Entrance Scholarship to the value of £3,000 to attend Bangor University in Wales. Read more on the Science Department's News page.
- GMIT: Danielle Scally (Class of 2009) has been awarded a scholarship to GMIT for excellent Leaving Certificate results.
Leaving Certificate Achievements:
- Brent Brown and Declan Dooley (Class of 2009) were presented with national awards for excellence in the Leaving Certificate Engineering examination. Their Engineering teacher was Mr Meehan.
- Eoin Mc Evoy (Class of 2009) achieved the highest grade in Higher Level Leaving Certificate German in Ireland in 2009. His German teacher was Dr. Stack.
