Many past pupils from the Class of 2009 attended the Tullamore College's Got Talent final on the 22nd December. They met with the teachers and the students and enjoyed the concert.

Scholarships & Awards

UCD:

Tullamore College Andrew Neale was awarded a Sports Scholarship for Rowing at University College Dublin on the 20th November. At the same ceremony, Michael Donohue and Eoin Mc Evoy were awarded UCD Entrance Scholarships. These scholarships are awarded on the basis of Leaving Certificate points.

Bangor University, Wales:

Roddy Shaw has been awarded an Entrance Scholarship to the value of £3,000 to attend Bangor University in Wales. Read more on the Science Department's News page.

GMIT:

Danielle Scally has been awarded a scholarship to GMIT for her excellent Leaving Certificate results.

Awards

Engineering Awards: 

Brent Brown and Declan Dooley were presented with national awards for excellence in the Leaving Certificate Engineering examination. Their Engineering teacher was Mr Meehan.

German Award:

Eoin Mc Evoy achieved the highest grade in Higher Level Leaving Certificate German in Ireland in 2009. His German teacher was Dr. Stack.

Graduation

Thanks to Lauren Coyne for organising such a successful graduation. The graduation took place in the Tullamore Court Hotel and past pupil Mark Hogan provided the music.
